Note schedule changes for the BAT Playwrights Festival

The BAT Playwrights Festival is a wonderful adventure into the minds of Washington playwrights. The Festival included the four winning plays from BAT’s contest. The two one-act and two full-length plays are being produced over four weeks. TICKETS HERE

The BAT Playwrights Festival creates a few changed from BAT typical routine. Here are things to note.

  • All tickets are $12.  There is no half-price Saturday or Seven Buck Sunday.
  • Each $12 ticket gets you in to see a performance of 2 shows:  a one-act followed by a full-length.  Plus talk-backs after each play.
  • Friday and Saturday performances start at 7:30 pm instead of 8.
  • There are 2 sets of plays with each set playing for two weekends only:
    • April 26-May 5
      • Not Food for Monsters, a dark comedy
      • Hardened Criminals, a full-length drama
    • May 10-May 19
      • The Great Fish & Jonah, a comedy
      • Goldendale, a full-length dram
  •  There are 2 opening night parties to go with the 2 sets of plays, and tickets for opening night include opening night party. The opening nights are:
    • April 26:  Not Food for Monsters and Hardened Criminals
    • May 10:  The Great Fish & Jonah and Goldendale
